Welcome to Vinolat, a place where flavor, experience, and love for Italy are at the heart of everything. From the heart of Waasland, we bring you carefully selected Italian wines.

​

My wine journey began in 2014, during a family-and-friends vacation in the charming town of Cesena. We visited the Zavalloni estate, where winemaker Stefano presented his wines with such passion that I was instantly captivated. The tour through the vineyards and cellars, followed by tasting at a long table piled with delicious piadina, left a deep impression. From that moment on, I wanted to learn everything about wine.

In 2016, the idea of Vinolat began to take shape. What started as a dream during a study project grew into a concrete plan: to bring quality wines from Italy to Belgium—specifically to the Waasland region.

On a road trip through Italy, my partner also fell in love with the country, its food, the people—and of course, the wine. That shared passion brought us even closer together—and closer to this project. Together, we now want to share our love of Italian wine with others.

In 2023, we returned to Zavalloni together, where we personally made our first wine selection. These wines mark the beginning of Vinolat—and the start of a story we’re excited to share with you.
